| Purpose of job: | To work as part of a team to provide 24-hour support for homeless and socially excluded persons. |

Main duties:
- To control access to the building, ensuring no unauthorised access
- To keep accurate records for both service users and the project
- To positively contribute in the handover at the beginning and end of each shift
- To ensure the safety and security of the colleagues, service users and the building
- To ensure that all Fire, Health & Safety and other regulations and policies are observed
- To undertake hourly checks of the project
- To deal with any risk to Health and Safety in an appropriate manner by either removing / reducing the risk, advising the team leader or in emergency situations contacting the emergency services.
- To participate in designated cleaning and laundry tasks
- To deal with telephone calls & pass them on to the appropriate person
- To be aware that assessments and action plans for individual service users exist and engage in a way which will positively contributes to achieving their goals.
- To work in a way which empowers service users
- To contribute and participate positively in meetings and training, as required
- To work within the policies laid down by The M25 Housing & Support Group
- To report any maintenance faults / issues to the relevant person. In emergency situations ensuring the repairs are actioned appropriately.
